It's very often I run into the question ‘What foundation would you recommend for *insert skin type/budget/mates name here*, so today I wanted to give you my top five, tride and true foundations.

For a purse-friendly price - Loreal True Match Lumi - Around $8.00
There are are number of reasons to love this foundation. Obviously, the price. At $8.00 at most drug stores, this baby surely wont break the bank. It is 40% water for intense hydration, and it is enriched with antioxidants Vitamins C and E for improved clarity and skin tone. It provides a light to medium coverage, great for all skin types, great pigmentation, and is as smooth as silk which helps with the blending process.
The cons: It has a history of not staying on all day. I havent ever had an issue with this, and I am oily. However, make sure your patting a setting powder over your foundation to lock it in place.

For a full coverage finish - Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation - $46.50
I seriously cannot speak highly enough about this foundation. This is my #1 ride or die foundation. Lancome spent 8 years developing this beauty. It has a fresh texture that is super blendable and allows your skin to breath. You will never feel cakey, or like you are wearing a mask. It is perfect for every day use, and a little goes a LONG way. Do not, I repeat, do not, let the price deter you. How many foundations have you bought, tried, hated, and are now sitting collecting dust? Spend the $46.50 once and never seach again.

For a Sheer coverage- Urban Decay Naked skin weightless foundation. $40.00
This foundation is completely weightless and viturally invisible, with a demi-matte finish. I love the buildable coverage it provides because you can apply one layer for a CC/BB cream look, or you can apply additional layers to build. It comes in 18 shades so finding your perfect match will be a piece of cake. Urban Decay also formulated Naked Skin without the use of any parabens, sulfates, snythetic fragrances, Phthalates, Triclosan, or GMO's. ( As If I needed more reasons to adore this foundation)

For an oily complextion- Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation $55.00
As I stated above, I am an oily girl. Seems no matter what I did, I would end up looking like a greased chicken after a few hours, until I was introduced to Hourglass liquid powder. While delievering long lasting coverage, it completely absorbs oil, hides imperfections, and has a velvette-matte finish. It absorbs 75 percent of its weight in sebum while retaining the skin’s natural moisture. ( WOW!! ) Make sure you use a brush to apply, and work quickly, because this will set in no time flat.

For a drier complextion- MAC Studio face and Body foundation. $36.00
This foundation is comfortable, and lightweight. It has emollients that deliver a low to medium coverage. It's very moisturizing and long wearing. However, not in the slightest bit water proof. It has a tendency to run off if hit with any h2o.
I try to consistantly try new foundations to give better reccommendations. What are some of your favorites?
